Join us at the Moose Jaw Museum & Art Gallery for a round table discussion exploring the challenges and strategies different community partners are taking to conserve grasslands. You will also have a chance to view the completed Viewfinder exhibition, featuring large-scale paintings and video capturing the field work done with staff, stakeholders, and allies of the Nature Conservancy of Canada.
Prairie grasslands are among the most endangered ecosystems on the planet and are vital to our well-being—they filter our air and water, store billions of tonnes of carbon, and help reduce the impacts of flooding and drought. Grasslands are also key to ranching livelihoods and supporting local economies.
