Vaughan Grayson - Biography (PDF)
Artist, Vaughan Grayson, was born in 1894 into a prominant Moose Jaw family. Trained as a school teacher, she received a B.Sc. from Columbia University in New York City, graduating in 1923. In the 1920's, she published two books about teaching art appreciation in primary and secondary schools which were widely used in Canada. She painted using all media, was an accomplished printmaker, traveled throughout the world, and wrote an unpublished book about working as an artist in the Rocky Mountains. She died in the early 1990's in Moose Jaw.
